FAQS
Services
Who do you work with?
We have therapists specializing in working with pre-adolescents, adolescents, and adults. We provide individual, couple, and family therapy.
How does therapy work?
People seek therapy for many different reasons. Therapy starts with initial meetings with a therapist to gather information and history in order to create a personalized plan to address your goals. Therapy may include individual, couple, and family sessions.
How long does therapy take?
Each therapy session lasts typically 50 minutes. Your therapist will establish a schedule of sessions that best addresses your goals and specific needs. Each client’s needs are unique so it is difficult to predict the number of sessions it will require. After your initial intake appointments your therapist can give you a predicted treatment course dependent on goals and severity of concerns.
Do we offer services to teenagers and children?
Yes, we specialize in the treatment and support of preadolescents and adolescents aged 4 to 19. We offer individual and family counseling for these clients.
Do we provide medication management?
No, we are a therapy clinic and do not manage medication. We have several relationships with excellent providers to help with medication evaluations. We would be happy to refer and coordinate care with these providers.

Financial
How much does therapy cost?
Each 50 minute session costs $195 to work with an associate. Each 50 minute session with Dr. Jeff Caster costs $245. The fee will be collected at the time of session.
Will my insurance company pay for therapy?
Many insurance plans reimburse for some portion of therapy. Please direct your questions about reimbursement amounts to your insurance company. Dr. Jeff Caster and Associates are not contracted with any insurer. We are considered an out-of-network provider. We are happy to provide a receipt for your therapy services and you can then submit those to your insurance provider. Please note we do not complete any insurance paperwork.
Why don’t we accept insurance?
We want to allow you to have control in your mental health care. We believe you and your therapist should be in charge of your treatment goals and length of treatment, not the insurance company. Insurance companies also require diagnosis and clinical information to provide therapy authorization. We want to protect your privacy and do not want diagnoses to follow you throughout your life. Your clinical information is not shared with anyone and we provide ultimate privacy.
